Radio Scoop in Lyon integrate AXIA and Zenon-Media

Just in time for the french "rentrée" (2008 lauch) , Sccop started the last week of august 2008 the new technical concept with Zenon-Media and AXIA console.
The integration done by the French distributor SAVE DIFFUSION was realized in few days.

Ostseewelle is on air

On 06 of August 2008. Ostseewelle goes on air from their new location.
In the new studios some special features like rotating news studio able to view the main and the secured on air studio are installed.
The Zenon-Media software is not new, it was allready used in the old location.

New media presented at SIEL&SATIS

To give the best response to our customer requests and specially our french customer , we invite you to visit us at the SIEL & SATIS exhibition to assist to the presentation of our new commercial planification system: Traffic 2000. Over the basic planification functionalites , Traffic 2000 include also for example the billing , sales force following, campaign statistical, comptability export facilities. Radio Scoop in Lyon will be the first french radio station using Traffic 2000 with the GIE certification.

The integration of the new media in the ALL IN ONE AUDIO software suite is done over some new module offering the management of the metadatas over a CMS (content management system). Over this CMS the radio station will be able to link in real time the information from the on air studio (scheduling, hooks,...) to a metadatas database (pictures, slide show, video, weather map,...). This database is used to generate Web pages for Web 2.0, or associated datas for the digital broadcasting (T-DMC, BIFs).

More and more request for thematic Web channel are needed. Zenon-Media has developped a SHOUTCAST ASIO driver that permit a direct broadcasting from the PC to the shoutcast server without using an external software part. The power of the actual PC's give the possibility to playout around 30 streams from one PC. A special version of this driver is installed at Radio classique in a surround 5.1 version. Here a HD stream is generated using an encoding system form Fraunhofer institut (creator with Philips of the mp3 encoder).

The AXIA driver over IP are completed integrated as virtual audio card but also for all GPI control going over the IP link. The mixing console command are sent all over the driver (fader start, PFL, control button,...) so no extra external cableling is needed. LAGARDERE Group is successfully using this technology at EUROPA FM (Bucarest) over years. Thanks to SAVE diffusion joining the resellers and technical partner group of Zenon Media this integration was accelerated.

NEW SUPPORT Procedure

After long time using the mail service: "support at zenon-media dot com" to send us your support request, we have optimized the support follow up.
Now the support ticket is embedded in our Webpage in your own main pages, so we can provide a personalized service for you.

The mail address "support at zenon-media dot com" is more and more spamed and the following of the ticket was not easy for team work.

So we have launched now a support ticket system in our Webpage. You need to registered yourself to build an account. We will add your profile in your "radio station". So all support request provided by a person in the same radio can be followed by all other from your radio station.

In the same time we have increased the file exchange flexibility by opening a personalized file exchange solution for each radio station. you can upload your file independly from any support ticket and we can send you also any file (for update, quotation,...). Over these file exchange we don't need a dedicated ftp server anymore. All is controlled over our Webpage.

For small discussion you will also find a chat system where discussion can be put if y support ticket is not needed for just a simple question.

The Radio Group in Germany choose Zenon-Media

To start in 2009 The Radio Group choose our automation system for all the radio station affiliate in the Group.
Radio Cottbus is using our automation for some years and now all radio station will be also installed with the same plateforme.
Automatic audio file exchange will improve the interconnectivity. Over Synchronize dB all files informations recorded on one radio station will be replicate to the other one. the "GEMAA" declaration will not be a trouble because once recorded legal information on a song is replicated to all other radio station.
Real time synchronization of each Web page will aslo be easy over real time exported XMl files to each provider.

Zenon and Windows 7

some minor adaptation let's run our product range on this new windows plateform. We 're waiting the first releases of Windows 7 to make a depth cross check of all features. At this time we have only some pre release candidate operating system on where we are testing the features.

To see all your desktop gadgets, just drag your mouse to the lower right corner of your desktop. That'll make all the open Windows transparent—making your desktop, and the gadgets on it, immediately visible. Want to minimize all your windows? One click and it's done.

The taskbar at the bottom of your screen is what you use to switch between the applications you've got open. In Windows 7 you can set the order in which the icons appear and they'll stay put. They're easier to see, too. Click once on the new large icons or bigger preview thumbnails and you're ready to go. You can even see a full screen preview before switching to the window.

Please find your product manuals online under the section Manuals. This can only by acceed if you're a regsitere Zenon customer. So please registered yourself and logged in.
You will find the most common delivered language of our software. Basically if a manual is not found in your language check in English, all manuals are first written in english.

Automatic import include all attached metadatas

The latest version of Universal import is able to import automatically the audio files received from promotion web site like Phononet , Music promotion network,...
Even the audio file receive is in FLAC, WAV,... it's imported. The attached files like lyrics, HTML explanation, pictures are also imported and linked in the database.
for the different promotion site , you just need to adjust the prefilter on the Universal import.
